At Elysion we are strong supporters of the show system. We believe there is much benefit in submitting the best of our breeding for review by judges and our industry peers. This gives us the opportunity to benchmark our breeding progress and to review bloodlines that are producing the traits we seek in our alpaca breeding program.

Boorowa Show 6th March 2010
A good entry of 125 huacayas was judged by Lyn Dickson. Unfortunately the suri section of the show was cancelled due to low entry numbers.

Canberra Royal Show 27-28th February 2010
Canberra Royal has grown into a well respected member of the "Royal Show" circuit. With 320 animal entries, many from interstate, Competition was fierce. However, Canberra retains its friendly, country show feel.

Crookwell Show 14th February 2010
The inaugural showing of alpacas at Crookwell was a somewhat dampened by heavy rain leaving the alpaca pens and the show ring all under water before the end of the day. However, the show was still keenly supported and the judge, Bill Robbins, overcame very trying circumstances to complete his task.
